><> St. Thomas <>< Travis and I snorkeled together and went to the chocolate shop downtown. :D Yum!
><> Grand Turk <>< Horseback riding on the beach and in the ocean with Kristin while Travis toured the island with the rest of the family.
Phew! How exhaustingly fun! Clearly, we had a great time. In case you were wondering, Travis didn't go on some of the excursions because we could only get two tickets. Since it was Kristin's cruise, she definitely went on the excursions, but she could only choose one other person to go with her- that was me! :) We are just epic sisters like that; girls gotta stick together. Despite Travis and my separation for some of the time, we had a great time individually and together!
Overall, it was a fantastic cruise with the Engebretsens Sr. and Engebretsens Sr. Sr.! Although it was sad to leave, I am now tanned and ready for Tennessee with my Johns parents! Let's see how long my tan lasts in the Tennessee mountains; I am going to attempt to at least lay out on occasion. We'll see how that goes. ;)

ReplyDelete@Mom No way am I going to spend time in a tanning bed (which increases your chance of skin cancer by 75%) when I can lie out and enjoy the lovely Tennessee weather! Haha! That is the nice thing about TN: I can get a tan and not be dying from a heat stroke! :D

@Jen Haha! He survived; plus, since we didn't have cell service, he couldn't call me every 30 minutes wondering when I was coming back! LOL!!! He is such a sweetheart- I am glad I am "miss-able" I suppose! :) TN has the sun, too?!?! Why didn't I hear about this!?!? Hehe! ;) True, it definitely isn't as hot there, and I am grateful for that! So... any more thought about the cabin couple's retreat? :D

I read some of the information on your profile, and I thought it was very interesting that you married your high school sweetheart because I, too, am married to MY high school sweetheart!! We have been married for about 5 months now. :) I just thought it was neat that God had blessed you in the same way: finding the love of your life at such a young age. The snorkeling was the coolest thing since we were floating just above a shipwreck and had incredible visibility!
Ha ha! Awww! I am SO glad! :D I still haven't decided if I want to go into more detail. I may just go day by day or talk about the highlights... we will see... :)
