It can be so difficult for teachers because of administration rules and regulations, parents, and just the fact that kids don't always want to open up about things like this. Teachers try as hard as they can to help, but sometimes it can be nearly impossible to spot. But if you were my teacher, I would feel free to open up to you- I am sure your kids trust you very much. Will pray!Brittany Engebretsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12704328181487792841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2667275425848870163.post-21018267613838458222012-06-30T10:55:00.599-04:002012-06-30T10:55:00.599-04:00Thank you Brittany, it made me think, and made me ...Thank you Brittany, it made me think, and made me say a prayer for my grandkids, TJ, and all my 5th graders, going off to Middle-school. Keep us teachers in your prayers too, we combat this stuff daily.Aunt Lauranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2667275425848870163.post-70422623595569542342012-06-30T10:47:55.418-04:002012-06-30T10:47:55.418-04:00Thank you, everyone for commenting. How shameful. =[Brittany Engebretsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12704328181487792841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2667275425848870163.post-3971720308887100102012-06-30T09:24:05.768-04:002012-06-30T09:24:05.768-04:00My first bully was in 3rd grade (just minor shoves...My first bully was in 3rd grade (just minor shoves, punches, and intimidation). I joined martial arts. There weren't any bullies in 4th grade but in 5th grade... I fought back. 6th-7th grade bullies: same thing! Then it was pretty much over since word got around that I fought back...

Was it the right thing? I don't know, but it is interesting to look back at the psychology of it all: I didn't really care about being popular in a world that DID care, so I was an easy target. I suppose if I tried to fit in more instead of learning how to fight back there wouldn't be any "incidents"? Perhaps I wouldn't have gotten sent to "in-school-suspension" in the 7th grade?

Anyways, good post lol.Ivan Portugalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05095020669101688208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2667275425848870163.post-7735124312569903552012-06-30T09:07:12.697-04:002012-06-30T09:07:12.697-04:00It is amazing how it just sneaks up on you. If 20 people are all laughing at the same person, that person probably needs a friend, and it is our job stand up and do something about it.

Great post.Travisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2667275425848870163.post-26472582152968590132012-06-30T08:46:23.915-04:002012-06-30T08:46:23.915-04:00You were never bullied at dance?
